Parallel to CityPartners’ development at 555 E, a separate Griffis Group affiliated entity led the development of DC’s first citizenM, an affordable-luxury, European boutique hotel. The vibrant 252-Key hotel shares a building envelope with the 555 E apartment building, making this DC’s first ground-up development that includes both an apartment community and hotel on one parcel.
With expansive and inviting common areas, high tech and meticulously detailed guest rooms, citizenM Washington, DC Capitol has become an important part of the fabric of Southwest, and a gathering place for hotel guests and for area residents and workers.
