CityPartners led the joint venture, E Street Development Group, in a highly successful, award-winning Public Private Partnership. In the development, a contaminated surface parking lot at 400 E Street, SW, was transformed into a unique and novel mixed-use development. The 214-Key hotel, Hyatt Place National Mall, sits atop a state-of-the-art DC fire station. The building also houses premier retail space, headquarters for a local non-profit that aids underserved DC children, CityBar, a thriving rooftop bar, and underground parking.
